I'm a bit surprised that there has been so little national media attention (at least on television) to the ten year anniversary of John F. Kennedy Jr.'s death. I don't expect any television network to ask any questions about the death (we all know that will never happen), but you'd at least expect some typical fluff pieces. The only thing I saw on t.v. was a one hour special on the TV Guide network, which offered nothing new.
There are significant questions about exactly what happened that night. Early on, dogged but unknown voices on the internet (John Quinn, John DiNardo, Anthony Hilder) raised these questions, which were ignored by the mainstream media. There was the 9:39 PM final radio communication from JFK, Jr., which was mentioned frequently by the local networks throughout New England and was first reported by UPI. I have a two hour videotape of this local t.v. coverage (thanks to researcher Scott Myers), which even features an interview with Coast Guard official Todd Burgun, about this radio communication. Obviously, he wasn't there to be interviewed about an imaginary event. However, as happened after the assassination of his father, the "official" story was quickly adopted by all the mainstream media. Not a single dissenting voice in all that "free" and "independent" press. And so, the 9:39 PM radio communication went down the memory hole.
There is also the testimony of Pennsylvania lawyer Victor Pribanic, who reported hearing a loud explosion coming from the area about the time JFK, Jr.'s plane went down. Further, we have the still unidentified Hyannisport Gazette reporter, who told WCBV-TV in Boston that he saw a "big white flash in the sky," again in the right place and right time to be associated with JFK Jr.'s plane coming down. I exchanged emails with WCBV-TV reporter Steve Sbraccia a few years ago, and he volunteered the information that something didn't seem "right" to him about the JFK, Jr. plane crash. He also verified that he'd spoken to the Hyannisport Gazette reporter, and he was definitely a real person. None of the early investigators were ever able to track down this elusive reporter. Unfortunately, Sbraccia has not responded to my followup emails.

The only voice in the establishment press that is raising any questions about the death of JFK, Jr. at this point is the National Enquirer. I understand their credibility is suspect in the eyes of most, but in my view they are at least as legitimate as CBS, NBC, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, etc. For what it's worth, here's a link to that:
